6 bedroom home

Our client in Woodborough village had secured a plot on which they were looking to build a family home. The clients brief was for the property to have a grand entrance hall and galleried landing to create a large space to greet guests on their arrival and continue this open space on the first floor landing. The design incorporated a load bearing floor within the attic space incorporating a traditional roof to enable a future loft conversion when the funds were available.  We were called back later to design the loft conversion providing a cinema room, bathroom and an additional double bedroom creating a self contained bachelor pad.

What our clients say

“Concept Architecture arranged a survey of our new plot and after listening to our wish list of desired features, came up with various concept designs for us to consider. The entrance hall and staircase provide a real wow factor when you walk in the front door. We originally wanted a basement but were advised that utilizing the space in the roof would be a more cost effective alternative and take advantage of the open country views. The later conversion of the roof space has created a room with a view and a cinema to die for”.
